Reason For L2 Application: I Co-leased A Unit With Demica Withers For A Year Between 2022-2023 As Per The Legal Documents. We Each Agreed To Split The Rent In Half As Per The Roommate Agreement However, After 4 Months Of Living Together, She Stopped Paying Rent. I Requested The Landlord To End Our Lease Immediately After I Found Out About The Rent Arrears In The 6th Month So That No More Rent Arrears Would Add Up In My Name By Signing A L2. She Never Acknowledged Any Of The Emails And Did Not Sign The N11. She Continued To Live In The Property Without Paying Rent Until The Lease Ended. I Left The Property On The 8th Month And Always Paid My Share Of Rent On Time. The File 'highlighted Ledger Of Payments' Shows The Number Of Times Demica's Payments Were Bounced Back With An Additional $25 Non-sufficient Fee. Once The Lease Ended And After The Ltb Hearing I Ended Up Being On The Hook For Her Portion Of Unpaid Rent And I'm Currently Paying $477 Every Month To The Landlord To Cover The Rent Arrears.
