Add your property and units

Everything in LandlordEzy hangs off a property. Inside each property you create units — the individual rentable spaces. A single-family home is one unit; a triplex is three. Leases, tenants, rent and inspections all attach to a unit.

1. Go to Property Operations → Properties & Units and click Add Property.
2. Enter the address and basic details (type, city, postal code).
3. Open the property and add a unit for each rentable space. Set the rent, bedrooms and bathrooms.

• Name units clearly (e.g. "Unit 2 – Basement") so they're easy to pick when creating a lease.
• You can add or edit units any time as your portfolio grows.
