What is an N4 notice in Ontario?

An N4 — Notice to End your Tenancy Early for Non-payment of Rent — is the official Landlord and Tenant Board (LTB) form a landlord serves when a tenant owes rent. It gives the tenant a chance to pay the arrears by the termination date; if they don't, the landlord can apply to the LTB (Form L1) to end the tenancy.
