s.33 — When rent increase may be taken

33. (1) If an order with respect to a rental unit that increases the lawful rent is made under section 126 of the Act with respect to capital expenditures or operating costs for security services before the time for taking any rent increases under one or more previous orders has expired, the landlord may annually increase the lawful rent being charged by no more than the guideline rent increase plus 3 per cent of the previous lawful rent, until such time as no rent increase with respect to capital expenditures or operating costs related to security services ordered under section 126 of the Act remains to be taken.
